Maple Leaf Cookie
Only two colors of royal icing are needed to make these maple leaf cookies - an orange/yellow for the base and a red/brown for the details and the stem.
To make them, flood the cookie with the yellow color and then immediately add the brown lines using a #1 pastry tip. Use a skewer to pull branches from lines.
Finally add your stem.
It's definitely starting to feel like Fall.
