Valentine's Day Macaron Ideas

Valentine's Day is right around the corner and I have no doubt that all your sweeties would love homemade macarons.

Macarons taste best after a few days of chilling in the fridge so you don't need to make them last minute, under pressure and stress. Make them on the llth or 12th and you'll be all set to share your treats on the 14th.

The real struggle is choosing what flavors to make. To help you decide, here are some ideas with links to the recipes — Just click on the flavor.

Pomegranate Raspberry

Morello Cherry

Salted Caramel with Little Pink Hearts
Boysenberry
Grapefruit
Neopolitan
Rose

Macaron Flavor Ideas

Macaron flavor ideas courtesy of Maya and her friends.

My sweet niece Maya loves macarons so whenever I make them I like to pass on a few packages for her to share with her friends.

Maya is also a big help to me in choosing what flavors to make. So to help me with my macaron baking, she and her friends complied a handy list of flavor ideas.

I am looking forward to trying their suggestions - apple pie, blackberry and rootbeer float sound especially good to me.

I also know I'm keeping this list forever. It's a keeper.
